There was once a being more powerful than the other gods. His name was Legel.
He could not only bring objects out of nothingness but could also return them there.
Legel created a huge and beautiful continent outside of the world of eternity, in a place governed only by time. He shared his powers with the other gods, and populated this new continent with all manner of life.
Legel loved this beautiful continent and the creatures that lived on it.
They learnt to live in harmony with the nature he had created - watching over them was Legel's greatest pleasure.
However, there were gods that were jealous and coveted his pleasure and powers. Blinded by jealousy and greed, the gods joined forces and stole his holy body, pushing and sealing him into a place full of darkness.
However, the very moment Legel was being sucked into darkness he created Bijou, a being very similar to himself.
As Legel fell into the darkness, he endowed his twin with all his skills.
The gods were astounded. Although they had sealed Legel away with all of his strength, Legel's other self, Bijou, remained.
The gods were terrified and tried again, this time trying to destroy Bijou.
A vortex of incredible power devastated the area. It felt like even the light, wind and darkness were destroyed.
Nonetheless, Bijou was not completely destroyed. He was only torn asunder and scattered to the continent where his creatures dwelt.
The gods could relax for a while. They were sure that Bijou could no longer command his power, torn into pieces and scattered across a vast continent.
But they couldn't relax for long…
Eventually, the continent echoed with songs of blessing from the Giant Elven Forest. They were celebrating the discovery of one of Bijou's pieces!
